The Next Generation Safety Consortium represents the broad emergency response community and affiliated organizations in developing, managing, seeking funds for, and implementing a Next Generation National Elements Plan.

There are ways for both public sector and private sector entities to lend their expertise and input to all consortium activities. We invite participation in, and support of, the Consortium and its National Elements Plan by:

• States and regions that wish to take advantage of some or all of the National Elements to speed deployment of Next Generation emergency ICT systems, enhance interoperability and reduce costs;

• Emergency response leaders and organizations, including critical infrastructure providers;

• Citizen and business organizations interested in deploying broadband more broadly, and/or improving the safety of their communities; and

• Information and communications technology companies that are interested in being leaders in this emerging and large market for Next Generation emergency ICT systems by developing and demonstrating the national elements, or services and networks using them.
